After a hectic day, our family loves coming home to the inviting aroma of Italian beef wafting from our slow cooker. Use the broth as au jus sauce-it’s perfect for dipping! -Keith Sadler

Ingredients
2 lb boneless sirloin tip roast cut into strips
11.5 oz each)sliced pepperoncinis, juice and all
1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
3 tsp dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
12 oz) beer or nonalcoholic beer
8 hoagie buns, split
8 slices Provolone Cheese
Instructions
In 5 qt slow cooker, layer the beef, pepperoncinis and onion; sprinkle with oregano and garlic salt. Pour beer over the top. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until meat is very tender.
Spread mayo on rolls if desired. Place cheese slice on each and with slotted spoon, place meat mixture over cheese. Use the juice in the slow cooker to dip the sandwiches-awesome!!
