Southwest Bean Burger - TastyPlanner.com

A delicious bean burger I concocted using tips from all over the place plus my insight on what I find tasty.

Ingredients
3 C black beans, cooked
1/2 lrg red pepper, chopped
1 medium onion
6 oz corn, cooked
1/3-1/2 C Veganaise
1/2 C mushrooms, chopped
1/2 cup of oats (preferably not quick oats)
Sriracha to taste (this just depends on how spicy you want it)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Blend everything but the Sriracha, Salt and Pepper and Veganaise in a food processor, if needed add some water to help. It does not have to be liquified and is better if you have some chunks of vegetables in there.
2. Mix in other indredients.
3. Place mixture in the fridge, this will help it hold together. After a couple of hours take it out and form into patties. Store in fridge, or for longer storage, freeze.
Tip: If you’re burgers are not holding together try adding more oats and maybe some more Veganaise
