This one is a family favorite!
Hi, it looks like the ingredient quantities may not be correct. Half a cup of pretzels doesn’t spread very far, and gets lost in the 3/4 c. butter. Also, the water for the gelatin is showing up as 1/2 cup, which seems too little. Lastly, how long do you wait for the gelatin liquid to cool so it doesn’t melt the filling layer? Thanks!
It was wonderful that night, however, by day two the left overs were soggy…so no one wanted it.
I used 1 1/2 cups pretzels and like 3 cups hot water, and twice as many strawberries (and sliced them in half) and it seems to have worked well, proportion-wise. We’ll find out in 4 hours how it tastes. :p
