Steak Fingers - TastyPlanner.com
Chef: Mrsz
Kids love this dish because they can dip it and eat it with their fingers. Big kids like Dad like it too:)
Recipe Source: my house
Ingredients
2 pounds round steak (tenderized)
1 1/2 cup flour
1/8 cup Nature's Seasoning
1/4 cup vegetable oil)
Milk (for gravy)
Instructions
Slice the round steak into “fingers” (about 1" X 4")
Mix the flour and seasoning in a bowl or a bag
Shake or cover the fingers with the flour mixture
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and fry the steaks until they are golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. A meat thermometer inserted into the center should read 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
I usually cook these up in 3 batches.
Serve with gravy made from drippings.
Add some of the flour mix left to the oil and brown, then add milk until the desired consistancy is reached. (Gravy should reach a boil to assure you cook the flour.)
