Ingredients
3/4 c orange juice
1/4 pound margarine
1/4 c sugar
2 pkgs dry yeast
3 C flour
2 beaten eggs
dash salt
oil
icing sugar
Instructions
Mix together orange juice, margarine, and sugar, heating until margarine melts. Cool to lukewarm and sprinkle in the yeast, stirring until yeast dissolves.
Add flour, eggs, and salt. Mix until you get a smooth dough. Knead the dough until springy.
Place dough in greased bowl and let rise half hour. Punch it down and shape into small balls or doughnut rings. Let rise another half hour.
Fry in two inches of hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Shake with icing sugar in paper bag.
