Teriyaki Sauce - TastyPlanner.com

Great to add to many dishes.
Ingredients
1/4 cup - soya sauce
1 cup - water
1/2 tsp - ground ginger (I do not use this but might add some zing)
1/4 tsp - garlic powder
5 tbsp - packed brown sugar
2 tbsp - honey
2 tbsp - cornstarch
1/4 cup - water
Instructions
Mix all but cornstarch and 1/4 cup water in a sauce pan and begin heat
Mix cornstarch and water in a cup and dissolve. Add to sauce in pan.
Heat until sauce thickens to desired thickness. Add water to thin if you over thicken it.

I was trying to come up with an Asian style of burger and my husband suggested teriyaki sauce, but he wanted a nice thick sauce not the stuff in the bottle. I made this (I had everything already in my cupboard, except for the honey). I cooked it up in a very short time and it was AMAZING on my burgers!!
