Vegetable Pasta
Ingredients
2 tsp chopped fresh garlic.
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1/2 cup finely chopped basil
2 tbls soy sauce
1 pound uncooked vegetable spiral pasta
2 cups frozen chopped hash browns potatoes
4 cups frozed mixed vegetables
Instructions
place the garlic, crushed red pepper, basil and soy sauce in a small saucepan. Set aside. Bring 6 quarts of water to a boil in a large pot and cook teh spiral posta for 5 minutes; then add teh potatoes and mixed vegetables and cook 5 more minutes. Drain the pasta and vegetables, saving some of the cooking water. Add 1 cup of the cooking water to the garlic-basil mixture and heat in in the saucepan. Pour the heated mixture into the basta and vegetables. Mix all together, adding reserved cooking water as needed for moisture.
