Zesty Steak Salad - TastyPlanner.com

Steak salad is an easy way to put together a one-dish filling meal and leaves lots of room for substitution and your imagination. This is how I like my steak salad — zesty.
Ingredients
8 ounces flat cut round steak, cut in strips
1 yellow or red bell pepper
1 cup grape tomatoes, cut in half
1 cup lettuce or salad blend
2-3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
1/2 tsp. crushed sea salt
1 tsp. crushed black pepper
2 tbsp. olive oil
Instructions
Season the steak with salt and the black, cayenne and crushed red peppers. Let stand 5 minutes while heating the olive oil in a skillet.
Once the oil is hot, add the garlic, bell pepper and steak. Cook until the pepper begins to soften and the steak is cooked thoroughly.
Arrange the lettuce in a bowl or pasta dish and add the tomatoes. Serve the warm steak and pepper mixture on top. Toss lightly with your favorite dressing (simple oil and vinegar or italian dressing recommended).

I can’t wait to try this salad this weekend. Looks delicious!
This recipe was absolutely amazing! My wife and I really enjoyed it. However, it was a bit to spicy for my wife so if you aren’t looking for that extra spice you may want to cutback on the cayenne or red pepper. I actually added a tablespoon of sugar which added a touch of sweetness to counter the spicyness and it worked out wonderfully. Very easy to cook.
